Refund Policy
INSTORE: we do sell second hand records and customers are allowed to listen to new records so WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you check the condition of the vinyl before you purchase. Once the vinyl leaves our store we don’t know what has happened to it and cannot be held responsible for damaged goods.
We do understand that sometimes there are problems that are not immediately visable and there can be issues with new items and sometimes we get our second hand gradings off, so if you do get home and discover something, PLEASE contact us as soon as possible. Waiting weeks or months makes it difficult for us to help you.
Best idea is to put things in writing as soon as you find an issue. This gives us a ‘paper trail’ to go on if you inadvertanrtly leave the return request too long.
Our casual staff are not authorised to make refunds, so please arrange to come in during the week so a manager can help you.
CHANGE OF MIND: We do not offer refunds if you change your mind, unless you come back within the hour after having discovered that your bank account has been emptied by hackers and you need the bus fare home.
ONLINE: we triple check all stock before we send out, but we are also human so if it turns out - in the rare instance that we have messed up - that there is something wrong with the vinyl we send, we will sort you out.
GIFTS: receiver has the right to exchange as long as they come in as soon as possible after receiving the gift and if the vinyl has not been damaged in any way.
PRESSING FLAWS: are easily distinguishable from the damage caused by careless handling, we will exchange or refund if this is the case.
WARPED RECORDS: we have a flattener and will happily de-warp any vinyl in the shop for free, including anything you have purchased and taken home, as long as you bring it back in good time and retain the receipt or have left the price label on. Flattening costs $10 on any of your own records.
