Chilli Dust 20g

20g of dried and finely powdered Australian chillies. Majority orange Habanero with a percentage of Bird's Eye.

To expain the chilli ratio; Habanero chillies contain sugars that caramelise when they're dried, this gives them a lovely sweetness, reminiscent of pineapple, but reduces their front palette heat somewhat (NOTE: this is still a very HOT powder).

Bird's Eyes don’t change much when they're dried, so adding those gives this mix a front end boom, while maintaining that sweet (but hot) Habanero vibe.

20g may not sound like a lot, but you can be sure it will go a loooong way ;) It’ll fill the larger side of the Swiss Advance travel shaker more than twice!

Chilli Salt

40g of the most flavoursome chilli salt you’ll ever sprinkle anywhere.

This mix contains 10% Steph’s Chilli Dust plus a mix of activated charcoal salt (black) and table salt (white) to give you a full flavour spectrum.

The mix was originally 23% chilli, but sanity prevailed in the form of Colette, Bobby & Shasta. Thanks guys.

The texture and charcoal flavour of the black salt not only allow the chilli dust room to play in your mouth but balance out the ordinarily harsh nature of the white table salt.

This is a smooth mix that goes equally well on your shoe string fries as it does on the rim of your margarita.
